Lankaran Business Training Centre

The purpose of this project which is implementing in the frame of "State Program for Socio-economic Development of the Regions of Azerbaijan Republic" is to help for development of entrepreneurs in Lankaran Economic region through implementation systematic activities, inform and teach them modern world practices and practical cases of entrepreneurship, meet them regularly find out thyeir problems and prepare special activities how to solve this problems and give them to appropriate organizations.

Project will last two years. Following activities are planned to be implemented in the first year:

Regularly to conduct surveys in order to find out the main problems of entrepreneurs
To present economic and legal services to entrepreneurs and people who wants to be entrepreneur
To organize meetings with entrepreneurs in the regions and enlighten of the youth about entrepreneurship. Training topics will be identified taking into consideration results of future survey among the enterprises
To involve foreign experts for training on essential economic fields in the region
To organize roundtables and seminars on concrete problems
To prepare recommendation on "Problems and solutions to these problems facing entrepreneurs during their business activity"

Project will be financed by the German Technical Cooperation Organization (GTZ) and will be implemented by the Global Economic Researches Centre in close cooperation with Ministry of Economic Development.

As a first step All conditions have been provided for implementation of the project in the region and survey have been conducted among 90 enterprises in order to clarify activity profiles of LBTC.
